Cultural Sites in Lebanon

  • Anjar: Roman temple ruins.
  • Baalbeck: Ancient city, in the UNESCO world heritage
  • Beiteddine: Ancient palace
  • Byblos (Jbeil): Big region where you can have many things to see during the day (castle, churches) and partying at night (you will enjoy a large choice of bars).
  • Deir El Qamar: Historical places: Churches, and historical places.
  • The Cedars: Great place to breath fresh and pure air and get away from the rush of the city.
  • Saida: Famous for its port, you can also enjoy looking at castles and the medina (medieval city).
  • Tripoli: Also famous for its port, you can enjoy discovering a fortress, a church and four mosques.  
  • Tyr: on the world heritage UNESCO list, you can enjoy a beautiful view on the port, ancient city (Phoenician wall, Castles and more) and necropolis with monumental arch and a hippodrome.
  • Quadicha Valley: This valley contains many important monasteries that are very impressive to discover.  
  • Zahlé: a beautiful region where you can enjoy a splendid view on great superficies of green land.
